Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu films, as well as a couple of Malayalam. She received the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her role as actress Savitri. She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter producer of film G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She began her career as a child performer during the 2000s, and later went back to film after studying fashion design. Her first leading role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy started working on projects that were not Malayalam in the year 2015. In addition, she signed to star in multiple Tamil films at the same time. The film she released was her debut, A. L. Vijay's romance comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. It was not a success at the box-office. A busy schedule during 2015 led her decide to pull out of projects that she was already developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to accommodate bigger projects. This meant that she was involved in two movies, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo which starred Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played the role of Thodari for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. Although the release date of Janakitho Nenu has not been confirmed, there is speculation that the film could be released sometime in September of 2020. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay.
