Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann
Aaliyah Dana Haughton exploded into fame in 1994, after she released her debut Album Age Ain't Nothing But a number. When she was just 15 years old, the album earned Gold recognition. The album was an album that was heavily inspired by R. Kelly and it placed her in the limelight. In 1996, she teamed up with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland in her sophomore studio album One In A Million, that included the top-selling track If Your Girl Only Knew. After the release of this work Aaliyah gained international attention for her performance as an R&B artist. The year 2000 saw her appeared alongside the martial arts icon Jet Li in Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, film producer and director of the film Romeo Must Die, spotted her at an award ceremony. In 2002 she got to play the horror film Queen of the Damned which was based on The Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels followed, with Zee playing her role. The artist was awarded four Grammy nominations in 1999 and 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is the first generation Indian-American born in Connecticut. The stage name Mann is derived from her marriage name Mankad. Aarti is at once Aarti as well as Aarti. Majumdar. Although her early career was filled with minor movie and TV roles, she gained more prominence in the mid-2000s. Her other notable projects include Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. She has also been featured in advertisements for major brands such as international automobile manufacturer Volvo. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actress.
